Great kitchen design. It looks as though you took your time and planned the remodel very well. When you have cats in a house they are always up on counters. Especially when you're out of the room or sleeping. We always clean the counters before use because of this. My wife loves cats. Its the little things you notice after you've done it for a while like the mitres on the furniture kick on the island, crown and valance. The gap between doors and drawers are even, and the colour is consistent throughout. Cherry is great to work with, soft and great to stain, although it does darken with age.
